About Miles Davis

I am fine wine consultant and advisor, researching and commenting on the fine wine market and helping private clients manage their wine collections both for investment and drinking purposes. In the past I have founded and managed FCA authorised wine investment funds. I have helped several companies raise capital from angel investors, including Wine Owners, creators of Wine Hub. This activirty has not been limited to wine but also in other industries, notably FX, having raised significant capital for Siege FX and to a lesser degree, New Change FX. Other businesses have ranged from dog food manufacturing to pension providers, so an interesting mix. I started my career on the floor of the Stock Exchange with Laing and Cruickshank and Hoare Govett before moving to H.K. with Crosby Securities. Latterly in my finance days, I specialised in closed end investment funds investing in emerging markets with Bear Stearns International and Teather and Greenwood.
