Always open to new opportunities that the offer professional development and new challenges. Currently a Firefighter with the London Fire Brigade, previously an Emergency Planning Officer. The main duties of a full-time firefighter are to help protect the public in emergency situations. They respond to a wide variety of calls, such as car crashes, chemical spills, flooding, water rescue and general rescue as well as fires. Provide first aid until the arrival of ambulance personnel. In addition to attending emergency call outs and rescuing people and animals from life-threatening situations. Currently I am taking on extra projects above my role. Past roles have included Emergency planning Officer carrying out Emergency Planning and Business Continuity duties at Essex Civil Protection & Emergency Planning and Castle Point Borough Council. Complete and maintain plans, liaise with other agencies and responded to emergencies/crisis. Responsible for the training for Council Staff from Chief Officers to administrative staff. Planning and Co-ordinating seminars and exercises involving Council staff, emergency services, public utilities, local business and community groups. Being the on call duty office to be the first point of contact in a major incident. My role as an Emergency Planning Officer is split between two different organisations. This means I have to keep tight project management skills. I work on various projects that include planning for Mass Fatalities, Excess Deaths to Business Continuity and generic Emergency Planning. I have experience and interest in- Business Continuity - Emergency Planning - Creation of Training and Exercises aim at Emergency Planning and Response - Creation of custom software solutions for Emergency Planning, Training and Response- Training Exercises-Geographical Analysis of data for the Assessment of Risk from COMAH, Pipeline, Flooding and Epidemiology Specialities: Business Continuity AMBCI, Emergency Planning IT & Disaster Recovery GIS, GPS & LIDAR
