About Miles Madison

For 25+ years, I've focused on authentic learning centered on wellbeing and innate, human curiosity. I have a passion for supporting learners of all ages and borrow concepts from positive psychology to help learners actualize their best selves. I want to reimagine and transform education for all stakeholders; one that encourages strategic thinking and action through honest, supportive feedback while providing structures and ideas to make real growth possible. I am perspicacious, knowledgeable, and open-minded, with the ability to share information in a clear, easy-to-follow, and organized manner for all stakeholders, catering to a range of experiences. I am a motivational speaker and leader who can recognize and engage my audience. My main area of expertise and experience is in early childhood literacy, particularly the Science of Reading and structured literacy programs, Advanced Word Study, and English language grammar programs, as well as Readers and Writers Workshop. Additionally, I have worked extensively with international schools to develop teaching practices and philosophies in social/emotional learning, collaborative learning skills, and virtue/character development (IB Learner Profile and ATLs). I provide customized, on-site or distance training/coaching including presentations, course content creation, curriculum design and planning, model lessons, school audits and reporting, and more.
