About Miles Minor

I'm a financial candidate who has intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills and some experience in financial statement review. I'm hardworking, a fast learner, and always brings a positive attitude to the workplace. I love to encourage and lift others up, making sure I help others be the best they can be. I scored a 33 on my ACT and have a cumulative GPA of 3.77 throughout college. I played sports throughout my childhood and in high school: I was a starter on varsity in both football and basketball from my sophomore to senior year. I received all district honors each of those years, and was also elected as a captain for both sports as a junior and senior. I also played golf for 4 years and participated in track and field for 2 years. Adversity - unfortunately sports have brought me lots of injuries: 5 different broken bones throughout my body, 2 torn ligaments in my knee, and a torn hamstring. Those injuries weren't just difficult physically, but mentally as well, and I was forced to adapt to different situations and overcome many obstacles. There are many other things that I have gone through, but these injuries specifically have really molded who I am as a person and they make me confident I can now overcome any problems that might come my way.
