About Militsa Kaneva

Creative, social, proactive, and ambitious, I possess expertise in AML/CFT reviews, transaction monitoring, Integrity Due Diligence, eDiscovery, financial crime, and Data Visualization gained through my role as a Consultant with the EY Forensic & Integrity Service Line in Sofia, Bulgaria. I graduated from The University of Manchester, UK, with a first-class BA Honours Degree in Economics & Politics and was distinguished with the Dean's Award for Achievement for ranking in the top 0.5% of the Class of 2021. My prior experience includes roles as a Student Partner Intern, President and Founder of the Bulgarian Society, PASS Leader, and active volunteer, earning me the Stellify Award and the Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), Advance HE. I am currently pursuing an LLM in Law (part-time) at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria, and a Professional Qualification Diploma in UI and UX Design at SoftUni Creative, enhancing my capabilities in web design and legal fields. Fluent in four languages, I possess knowledge of International Political Economy and cybersecurity. I am passionate about trust by design, copyright law, environmental sustainability, blockchain technology, and AI.
