About Milko Dyakov

My professional experience commenced in a call center, initially as an operator, subsequently evolving into an administrative role. In this capacity, I provided support for the phone survey platform and client reporting. I enhanced my MS Excel proficiency, developing macros to aid managers in report generation. I also gained foundational experience in Data Collection (DC), managing the challenges inherent in phone fieldwork. Following a significant project with a marketing research firm, I was offered a programming position within their expanding online team. I transitioned and rapidly advanced to lead programmer (VB), responsible for training new team members and providing technical support. During this period, I gained insight into the complexities of online DC, back-end coding, and front-end development. Subsequently, I joined a smaller company, further expanding my market research DC skills (Python), managing full-service projects encompassing programming, fieldwork, and reporting. However, I was contacted by former managers with a significant job opportunity abroad. This involved establishing a new office hub in Buenos Aires to serve clients in the Latam region. My responsibilities included building and supporting the DC system (VB, SQL) and standards, recruiting and training new scriptwriters, and collaborating with managers from various teams (SW, PM, DP) to ensure proper setup and functionality. This role allowed me to refine my DC skills and further develop my front-end development skills (HTML, JS, CSS), as the position required custom visual development. We later relocated to Santiago de Chile, becoming part of a larger global online team within the company. We adopted new global standards and templates, and I became the primary support and training lead for the hub team. Within this team, I learned to integrate and support various systems that complement DC to ensure top-tier service, including fast turnarounds with automated processes for secure DC and delivery. Concurrently, I improved my Spanish language skills to a level sufficient for effective task performance and training delivery.
