The image of a senior level accountant is typically that of a “numbers guy.” While I am certainly good with numbers, I have built a reputation for achieving impact because of my strong relationship skills. The ability to grow trust and collaboration, along with a keen sense of business, has enabled me to help improve operational practices, increase efficiency, ensure deadlines, and contribute to a high-performance culture. Viewed as a “problem-solver,” I am proud of bringing creative solutions that facilitate the accounting and auditing processes in demanding environments. My background includes diverse experience in commercial, corporate, and public accounting as well as expertise with government projects and contracts. Often known as the “go to” guy on accounting issues, I have a thorough understanding GAAP compliance and regulatory issues. Most of my experience has been in fast-paced environments where I ensure accuracy, on-time reporting, and uphold the highest level of personal ethics. Prior to becoming an accountant, I urgently wanted a better understanding of financial information. I took some courses and became hooked on financial details and numbers. So, I became a CPA, then earned a Masters degree. I really enjoy tax consulting, solving complex tax issues and saving others money.
