About Millat Ahmed

I am a keen advocate for the environment and want to work on and deliver projects which will have a positive impact on the planet. I am also looking to utilise my extensive experience in delivering projects on a freelance basis. I have the skillset and qualifications to deliver complex projects either standalone or as integrated complex teams. My experience across several different projects throughout my career includes developing the future-proofing strategy for the strategic road network, as well as working on the Smart Motorways Programme, Regional Investment Programme, and Strategy and Planning Directorate for National Highways. I have also worked in the local government sector to deliver highway projects. I can think strategically to see how external pressures and government direction have an impact on the organisations both internally and externally and use this to help manage and lead projects. A highly capable individual with a strong academic background and an excellent team player. I am proud to say that I already possess a comprehensive understanding of the technical elements of Civil Engineering as well as holding multiple qualifications aligned to the project management profession.
