About Millie Wigg

A committed and enthusiastic LPC LLM student aspiring to be a solicitor. I am very interested in family law, personal injury and clinical negligence, employment law and human rights matters. While studying my undergraduate degree, I took on the role as Mistress of the Moots as part of Lincoln Law Society's committee. I was chosen for this role due to my achievement in winning the mooting competition the year prior. I also acquired the role of Lincoln Law School's Ambassador which meant I represented the law school on open days. I participated in several schemes while at the University of Lincoln including the professional mentor scheme in which I was paired with a family law solicitor to mentor me. Another scheme was student mentoring where I mentored a first year student by sharing my knowledge of the course and University as a whole which helped them settle into their course. As previously stated, I won the Lincoln Law School Stone Shield Mooting Competition which is one of my greatest achievements so far. I did also participate in Lincoln Law School's negotiation competition of which I got to the semi-finals with my partner. As well as this I was a member of Lincoln's Law Clinic which involved plenty of research and letter writing to real-world clients.
