About Milly Choy
I obtained a PhD in Integrated Biology and Medicine from Duke-NUS Medical School as an A*STAR Graduate Scholar, under the mentorship of Prof Duane Gubler, an arbovirus expert. I obtained my post-doctoral training at the Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS), A*STAR with Prof Martin Hibberd and Duke-NUS Medical School with Prof Ooi Eng Eong. Subsequently, I was appointed as the Scientific Director of the Insectary Core Facility at the Program in Emerging Infectious Diseases. Since Jan 2022 I have been appointed as the Lead Scientist at the newly established Center of Global Health Discovery (CGHD)@ Duke-NUS, a unique partnership with Johnson and Johnson that aims to discover and develop pan-flavivirus drugs.
