About Milos Mlady

I have joined DHL as Pricing Analyst in Express division Czech Republic back in 2007. I was freshly graduated without any business experience. I took the opportunity the company offers and invested lot of time into developing the right skillset. I became an experienced team lead in few years enjoying the process improvements and automations. I pursued a new challenge in 2011 joining the Internal Corporate Audit team based in Bonn, Germany. Not only that the international environment was new to me but I also had to learn auditing from scratch. Thanks to constant learning great managers and colleagues, I was able to grow my skills and progress through my career. I advanced from Auditor to Senior Auditor and finally to Audit Manager. There was always something exciting in those years. Auditing is simply about learning and understanding new topics, meeting new colleagues within the region and active team work. It allows everyone interested to understand the company’s business from much wider perspective than any other job can do. Year 2017 brought another challenge and I applied to executive role of Head of the newly established Regional Audit Office in Prague responsible for EMEA region. It was whole new experience as I suddenly took responsibility of 30 colleagues working in various Internal Audit teams. The start in such a role is always difficult however, I was not left alone and my colleagues and especially my supervisor supported me greatly. Our Regional Audit Office is currently place filled by international, excited and pro-active colleagues. Our experienced Managers lead their teams which are well recognized across the region and that makes me proud. I am happy to be part of our DHL family as it provides opportunities to everyone not based on their origins but based on their willingness to learn and excel.
