About Mimi Bergere

My passion is working with youth who need a step up in the world. As the Program Director of The Quantum Program, I ran an after school program for low income high school youth in the Dover Housing Authority. On a daily basis, I managed all asset development programming, including mentoring, academic support, community service, career development and social skills. One of my joys was introducing the kids to the fine arts, and attending theatre productions and museums became their favorite things to do. By giving these wonderful kids the skills they needed to succeed, 99% of my students are attending college, thereby breaking, in some cases, a generational reliance on public assistance. As the Lead Transition Specialist for GSIL's IMPACCT initiative in the Manchester Region, my goals included providing high school students with pre-employment transition training and "real life" job experience with a heavy dose of soft skills. After three years of leading this successful program (99% of Graduates finished high school) I am pleased to announce my new business venture. Bergere Consulting Services offers life and career skills workshops for high school age students. All young people need skills to be successful as they transition into adulthood.
