About Mimi McNally
Passionate, patient teacher of Psychology A Level, which I believe is an education for life as well as a qualification. I adore my job and feel privileged to coach young adults as they learn to understand themselves, their lives and those around them from a wide variety of different perspectives. My proudest moment every year is when students of mine successfully enrol onto undergraduate psychology degree courses at university - that is when I know I have created new psychologists! I also direct the EPQ and HPQ programmes at Claremont, supporting the other supervisors and supervising GCSE and A Level students as they design, research, conduct and evaluate their own independent research project. I play a significant role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of Claremont students, running mindfulness sessions on both a group and one-to-one basis to help students develop their own mindfulness skills, manage their own anxiety effectively and learn to be Human Beings, not just Human Doings.
