About Mimi Tsui

I have more than 30 years of experience in communications, PR and GR. I have worked for leading Toronto PR agencies Hill & Knowlton, Weber Shandwick and GCI Group. I also spent two years at DDB Needham PR in Taipei, Taiwan. For over 13 years, I was the Manager, Branding, Strategic Communications and Public Affairs for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (now CPA Canada). Recently, I was the Interim Program Coordinator in the post-graduate PR/Corporate Communications program at Seneca@York. I also teach in its PR and Government Relations programs. I have assisted with curriculum development for Seneca's micro-credential program in IR, managed the VOICES public speaking competition with Humber, Georgian and Centennial. I have also acted as freelance writer, editor and consultant for clients such as the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC), Riverside Natural Foods, Ontario Brain Institute and Swerve Design Group Inc, Dene Nation, Canada Infrastructure Bank. I was also a contract professor at George Brown College, teaching a Professional Communications course (Fall 2022/Winter 2023). I am fluent in spoken Mandarin Chinese and have strong spoken French language skills.
