About Mina Dordevic

I am a passionate psychologist and EABCT accredited Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with a strong commitment to promoting student mental health and well-being. Currently, I am a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at Penn State University (PSU), focusing on gaining a deeper understanding of student support services provided by the Student Affairs Department.My work at Penn State revolves around contributing to the improvement of student mental health and well-being, student success, and fostering healthy relationships within the student community. I engage in various activities, such as volunteering at the Dr. Edwin L. Herr Clinic, where I assist the counselors in education in their mission to serve the University student population and the wider community.In addition, I volunteer at the Career Services, and I'm also involved with the Gender Equity Center's 'It’s On Us' Peer Education group.My academic journey at the PSU also includes auditing courses such as Counseling Theory and Method and College Student Mental Health and Well-being, Humphrey Leadership Seminar, further deepening my knowledge in these critical areas.With over 17 years of experience at the Agency for Science and Higher Education, I have been leading the Department for International Cooperation, collaborating on international projects, and organizing seminars and workshops to enhance career centers, psychological counseling services, and teacher competencies at Croatian higher education institutions.My expertise and interests span internationalization of higher education, students' and teachers' mental health and well-being, development of student support services, accreditation of joint study programs, and strengthening quality assurance bodies in higher education.I am dedicated to making a positive impact in the field of higher education and student support services.
