About Mina Johan

With more than 20yrs of experience providing EdTech solutions to a global market across 193 countries, I’ve maintained a heightened focus on human intelligence and cognitive development. My career has included consulting major organizations on high-impact EdTech and AI projects, such as the United Nations, the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the World Bank, the Smithsonian Institution, and several other organizations in the private and public sector. While the heart of my work has been rooted in the study of the mind, behavioral patterns, and how external stimuli (typically via digitization and tech) can affect and adjust both for the purposes of adult learning and professional development, my interests have evolved to include projects related to holistic human health and well being. Carrying over key concepts of neuroscience, my current exploration is in linking brain science to ethnobotanical methods that strengthen the mind, body, and overall sense of human agency. I welcome collaborations with professionals in neuropathology and medicinal ethnobotany who seek to expand access to therapeutic and holistic medicinal plants in the U.S./DC.
