About Minal Jagtiani

Most people describe me as a learner; curious, intelligent, hungry and enthusiastic. Earlier, I questioned the 'value' in these descriptions, these 'adjectives?' Many reflections later, it is these that make up my valuable skill set. My infectious energy coupled with my integrity to contribute and deliver, have held me in good stead, especially in this dynamic corporate landscape. After working for 20+ years in India, in marketing of leading publishing firms, my living in Kuala Lumpur for four years and then moving to Singapore, as a trailing spouse and mother to two young, exceptional adults, has been a career hiatus for me. Until one day, my husband dropped a manuscript of his work on my lap! Picking that up, changed me. It tugged at my professional heart and allowed me a new career opportunity. Looking back, I was an author's wife who was 'helping' her husband to have his book published. Fast forward to six years later. I am a partner to my husband's publishing endeavour. By establishing his brand I unfurled my own professional identity! And a professional in my own right. This, friends, is my career 3.0. It was very rewarding to see the contribution I have been able to make which enabled me to deliver over 30 events (which incidentally, meant a truckload of networking) of different sizes and formats in the first year of the launch of the book, When Change Happens.A Story of Organisational Transformation, and position my husband as a Digital Thought Leader. This success led me to question (and contemplate on) my capability and I realised that I own a hidden talent, a professional asset. I could support other business executives in driving their ambition to delivery. This is the inspiration of LeadThink. Incorporated six years ago, in India and Singapore, I led a successful experiment, where each of the professionals who undertook the LeadThink intervention has experienced tectonic shifts in their careers. LeadThink is envisaged, as a Talent-as-a-Service platform, ensuing professionals will never feel the pain of job loss. Simply, LeadThink guarantees employability. LeadThink not only works for the individual but supports an organisations.
