About Mindi Epstein

Life is short. Three little words. After years of a marketing career with a title and financial security, these words landed on my Facebook page as part of something called The Holstee Manifesto. They were what tipped the scale to launch a dramatic life change. Today I balance two roles. In one, I am an assistant to a busy CEO of a start-up company. This is a role of service, not one of power or ego. I know how important it is for executives to have someone they can trust right by their side, someone who sees the bigger picture, can anticipate their needs and who they know will manage their business with efficiency and complete discretion. My second role is as the founder and Chief Optimist of Wabi Sabi: The Art of Living Life on Your Own Terms. This new venture is the culmination of everything I have done, studied, experienced and lived - the good, the bad and the not-so-good. I've had dreams - what I call "IT"s - that I have fulfilled. I've also had periods of not having an IT. In those times I felt a profound sense of loss. We all need an IT - something that gives our life meaning. One of my ITs was to run my own business. For 7 years I was the owner of yoga studios, as many as 4 at one point, and I am the founder of a women’s networking group, Top Floor Women. I can describe myself as an impassioned connector of people. I've fulfilled one IT of climbing the corporate ladder, another IT as an archaeologist, and a third IT of running my own business. What lights my fire now? Empowering women to be their personal best and to live life on their own terms. I believe that when women come together for collaboration, mentorship and friendship, we are unstoppable. This was my motivation for starting Top Floor Women in May, 2019 and it continues to drive me with the launch of Wabi Sabi.
