About Mindy Browning

As Energy Assistance Coordinator for ERBA, I realized my purpose in life is to help others. 6 weeks into my job at ERBA, over 20 years ago, I realized I wanted to do more than push a pencil. I wanted to be a voice for those who can't speak for themselves. I pride myself in doing that everyday. I love my customers and love watching them succeed. I am currently working very actively in trying to bring Solar energy to our low income families, through both community solar and individual arrays. Along the way, I ran into an IT guy who had a very similar reason for doing his job, to help others. Although he had a very good business sense, he needed more marketing and online presence. I pushed him constantly on this until he said,"Why don't you do that for me", so, I also became the digital media specialist and marketing manager for TEAM ITS. I get to use my tech geek hobbies to help others in this arena as well, and I love it! I build small websites and social media sites and help people understand those as well. Yes, I am busy, yes, I am passionate about both of these positions. Energy Assistance will always come first, it is in my blood and I have gotten to help make improvements over the years to our program and that is priceless to me, but anyone who thinks I have so many things going, I don't take any of them seriously doesn't know me well.
