About Mindy Collins

Mindy began her career in graphic design. She got her experience working with graphic design studios in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area before starting her own design business. Mindy started her own graphic design studio, Bright Idea Graphics, in New Jersey. Soon after, her illustrator husband, Mark Collins, joined her in the business. Together they were successful designing and illustrating for a variety of companies. They designed and illustrated high-roller invitations for a few casinos in Atlantic City, NJ, packaging and promotional materials for Campbell Soup Co, and many designs for other marketing and advertising companies. Mindy's strong sense of color and layout design led her to pursue an additional career in interior decorating. She brought her skills from graphic print work into the 3-dimensional world of interior design. She started a sub-division, Minteriors, which focuses on interiors. She has worked with many residential customers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. She has worked with architects to create and design a private Friends school in NJ, choosing everything from the interior finishes, created new logo and school signage, selected all the new furniture and playground equipment, and worked with the landscapers to create and design the school grounds. She has also overhauled the interiors for a commercial hair salon in Robbinsville, NJ. While her husband continues to operate their company as a top illustrator and children's book author, it allows Mindy to pursued other job opportunities to hone her design skills. Currently Mindy is working as a set stylist for live television programming at QVC in West Chester, PA. She also designed and self published an inspiring book called "The Doors of Florence" now available on Amazon. She has a few more books in the works. She also occasionally takes on new clients for paint color consultation and interior design. Mark and Mindy have one son, Austin, who is a successful EDM musician going by the stage name "AU5". Mindy is also on her spiritual path and studies the meta-physical world, along with kundalini yoga, meditation, and the Ayurveda sciences. Her goal is to bring more light into our current reality.
