About Mindy Compton Sideris

My passion is for working with our youth, and teaching has been my lifelong dream. In addition to my B.S. in Genetics, I have obtained my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a Supplemental Authorization in Biological Science, as well as my Elementary I/II Montessori AMS certification. My experience with children has been extensive, as a certificated teacher, a Buckeye Union School District substitute teacher, a pre-K teacher, a classroom volunteer and a mother to my three children. I am dedicated to bringing enthusiasm into the classroom to promote engaged learning, to maintaining sensitivity to family and cultural needs, and to fostering communication between teachers and parents. I am excited to have made a career change at this point in my life, and I plan to utilize my scientific background to excite children about this ever changing world we live in today.
