Design professional and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of hospital operations and capital planning. As the AVP - Design, Construction & Real Estate at Broward Health, I oversaw and led the management of design and construction projects from budget inception through delivery, as well as the key real estate acquisitions for the strategic growth of the health system. I have more than five years of experience in this role, and more than 28 years of experience in the design, construction, and real estate industry. My core competencies include capital project management, operations, design development, property and lease negotiation, and team leadership. I hold multiple certifications, such as EDAC, NCIDQ, LEED AP, Certificate in Gerontology, and RE, that demonstrate my expertise and commitment to excellence in healthcare design, construction, and real estate. I am passionate about creating and delivering high-quality, sustainable, and accessible spaces that enhance the health and well-being of patients, staff, and communities.
