I am a seasoned director in the nonprofit sector, most recently serving as Residence Life Operations Manager at The Savannah College of Art and Design. With 27 years of managerial experience, I excel in planning, organization, hiring, and training, and I am a resourceful problem solver and attentive team builder. As a mission-driven and dedicated leader, I am committed to providing exceptional customer service and on-time, on-budget project delivery.One of the defining moments of my career was the opportunity to help open the Starbucks market in South Florida, which forever impacted my life. In one of my most recent roles as Director of Camp Moon River (CMR) and Auxiliary Programs at Savannah Country Day School, I led the launch of the school's first comprehensive summer day camp and oversaw its accreditation, making CMR the only American Camp Association accredited day camp within 100 miles.I believe in forging meaningful relationships with individual members of a company and the community as well as with corporate stakeholders. I am a strong writer and editor and have a keen eye for detail. I am also a lifelong learner and believe in the power of transferable skills. My extensive experience with camp life and residence life and housing at SCAD has given me a deep appreciation for the importance of creating a supportive and inclusive community.I am proud and grateful for the opportunity to have built teams and for the leadership skills I developed throughout my career, especially during the pandemic.
