About Mindy Tindle

Walt Disney once said,"All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them." Much like nursing, we can change the face of what a nurse does every day if we have the courage to try, be the best at what we do, and be the best we can be for our patients. This is why I became a nurse, to help my patients get the best care while making my hospital a better place for patients and my coworkers. Teamwork is essential to the workplace and, in a profession such as nursing, is vital to evolving the job. I have been a nurse since 2015; it has been my life's best change. After graduating from Chabot College, I finished my degree at Grand Canyon University, where I graduated with high honors. While working on a surgical floor, I found my passion in helping new nurses and students learn. I loved to precept and work as a clinical instructor, giving back to the school that taught me to be a nurse. My passion led to me pursuing a master's degree in education. That is the best thing about nursing, continuing to learn and grow the profession.
