I specialize in market research, FP & A and quantitative finance, holding master’s degrees in Business Analytics from UBC and Quantitative Finance from UMD. With a strong foundation in advanced quantitative methods and business acumen, I leverage data-driven insights to support complex decision-making. My experience spans financial modeling, FP & A, market and policy research, and investment due diligence. I have led financial planning and forecasting for 25+ institutional investors and multinational clients, including Shanghai Municipal Fund, TikTok, Tencent, LVMH, and Bain Capital. Leveraging SQL, Python/R, Power BI, and Tableau, I develop and automate financial models to enhance revenue forecasting, cost structure analysis, and multi-market expansion strategies. I also apply mixed-method research approaches—including expert interviews, focus groups, survey design, and policy analysis—to provide actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Previously, at Fannie Mae, I constructed econometric models for mortgage default prediction and conducted interest rate risk analysis, assessing the transition from LIBOR to SOFR. As a Project Manager, I led investment diligence for global investors such as Hillhouse, Sequoia, Alibaba, and Tencent, focusing on market sizing, risk analysis, and financial modeling. I also developed data-driven solutions for Alibaba’s e-commerce investments, optimizing strategies with Python and Power BI.
