Compiles, synthesizes and interpret projects financial data and provides in-depth monthly/quarterly quantitative and qualitative analysis. Tracks projects actuals, accruals, and contractual commitments and performs cost trending analysis. Performs variance analysis process versus budget and prior periods Provide support and input in building the Capital and Operating Budgets, working assumptions and key metrics for a thorough bottom-up budgeting approach. Monitors closely the progress of programs/projects relative to financial activities against the established milestone. Conduct analysis and verification of costs for funded and unfunded capital programs Provide financial advisory role and dedicated support and assistance to Senior Project Managers and the project delivery team in various financial aspects, including the development of progress reports, business cases that helps drive management decisions. Plays a key role in gathering and interpreting Earned Value Management analysis, Planned Values vs. Earned Value analysis, Physical Percent Complete and other project management key metrics. Validates data, maintains and improves the projects Dashboard reports with the detailed sub- Maintains monthly forecast template and works closely with cross functional group within organization to obtain information Ensures that bundles/project’s key risks are adequately mitigated within the approved budget/contingencies
