I’m a Tokyo-based product & design leader who works where strategy meets craft—turning insight into systems and systems into products people actually use. I’ve led end-to-end work across mobility, hospitality, finance, retail, and telecom, partnering from the messy frontiers of discovery through prototyping, build, and launch so intent doesn’t evaporate in handoffs. The thread through it all is simple: clarity, momentum, results. I don’t ship feature lists; I engineer outcomes. That means optimizing for signal over noise, sequencing work to de-risk the bet, and sweating the seams where teams and systems meet. “Almost” doesn’t go out the door. Every detail serves a decision; every decision serves an outcome. Fewer things, done precisely, released when they’re ready—and ready means they move the metric we agreed to move. Data makes us effective; feeling makes us unforgettable. I pair funnels with fieldwork, dashboards with conversations, heatmaps with human stories. When numbers and nuance point the same way, products become easy to choose and easier to love—and they stay resilient when the market copies the features but can’t replicate the meaning. Excellence, for me, isn’t a mood; it’s a system. Clear design languages, accessible components, pragmatic engineering choices, and rigorous QA make work that is beautiful, usable, and durable. Budgets and timelines are constraints to design with, not apologize for. Craft isn’t a final layer of polish; it’s the operating principle. I’m at my best helping zero-to-one teams find fit and a simple, true story; scaling one-to-many with design systems, tokens, guidelines, and governance that compound velocity; and helping mature organizations modernize at speed by aligning leaders, sharpening roadmaps, and removing friction.
