About Miora Trainor

In my current role at Waller Legal, I assist with institutional abuse cases, where I help manage client files, draft legal documents, and provide critical support through both litigation and ADR. My previous experience at Lander & Rogers in the Compensation Team honed my skills in case management, client liaison, and legal documentation. Beyond my professional experience, I volunteered with the YMCA Youth Parliament Task Force for numerous years, where I served as the Youth Governor of Victoria. In this role, I advocated for youth issues, mentored young Australians, and led initiatives to foster inclusivity and diversity. My academic achievements are complemented by my active participation in the Deakin Law Student Society, where I hold the position of Social Justice & Equity Officer. My commitment to social justice is further demonstrated by my success in various law competitions, including the DLSS Witness Examination Competition. With a strong foundation in litigation, legal research, and client advocacy, I am eager to continue developing my expertise as I embark on the next stage of my legal career.
