About Miranda Blakeslee

Currently, I am an Operations Manager running a the Community Health Navigation Department at Bassett Healthcare Network. I manage the Health Home Administration under the guidance of the Department of Health, Bassett's Care Management Agency, and the In-Person Assistor Grant Program. This career fills my passion for combining healthcare and human services to impact the lives of populations in need. I have worked for many years in the human services feild and knew that I wanted to grow my career. Living in rural upstate New York, career growth opportunity is limited. I began working for Bassett Healthcare Network in 2019 despite a title demotion in an attempt to continue advancing my career. This was the best decision I could have made for my career. My inspiration for furthering my career has always been my mother, who struggled to do the same. Now I am a mother and I want to show my children, it may be tough getting there, but there is worth the struggle. In the next year, my professional goal is to restructure and reinvorgate the department to improve efficienies and work with a team of individuals to improve our program to better care for our members and patients.
