About Miranda Chaconas

I am independent and dedicated, creative and contemplative, yet decisive. I'm interested in all things health/wellness, particularly food and beauty, and most passionate about traveling. I graduated from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business in May 2017 with degrees in marketing and supply chain management, a minor in French Studies, and my Honors College citation in May 2017. In June 2017, I started my career at Sasya Foods, an Indian chips and dips startup based in Washington, D.C. I initially focused on marketing and social media efforts, but later pivoted towards the operations side of the business and worked as the company's operations manager until the company's closure in December 2019. My roles at this company were particularly unique in that I was the first and only managerial employee throughout the company's lifespan, so I was involved in tasks that spanned every level of the business. I was a seasonal operations manager for the 2020 peak holiday season at Macy's Logistics & Operations, overseeing the packing department within the customer fulfillment center.
