About Miranda Curry

I work in community and child development research focusing on non-profit community-based programmes that addresses the negative effects of poverty, marginalisation, and generational disadvantage. I have a personal interest in autism and neurodiversity, and I'm dedicated to understanding and addressing the unique intersections of multiple marginalised neurodivergent persons and the stigma present in today's society. First Class Honours BA Honours psychology graduate. My 2 years of experience as a research intern at the Early Learning Initiative taught me about data management, data anlysis, working within a team and indepedently to manage projects and produce documents to deadline, as well as how to work with a variety of people from both privileged and marginalised backgrounds. My ultimate goal is to work in autism research, and I need to work to grow my professional skillset and fund my way through post-grad.
