Thank you for visiting my profile! I'm Miranda Emanuel, a bilingual (English and Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #115536) based in Aptos, California. I bring a decade of experience in clinical psychotherapy and immigration evaluations, with a specialization in trauma therapy. I primarily work virtually. For the past eight years, I've served as the primary psychotherapist for adults at Monarch Services, an organization dedicated to providing immediate crisis support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Here, I deliver trauma-informed psychotherapy services to clients and their families, helping them navigate through their healing journey. One area I'm particularly passionate about is conducting psychological evaluations for immigration legal cases, including VAWA, U-Visa, Hardship Waivers (I-601/I-601A cases), T-Visa, and Asylum cases. As the daughter of an immigrant, I deeply understand the challenges faced during the immigration process and I'm committed to supporting individuals and families through this journey. My clients often describe me as genuine, compassionate, and professional. I'm passionate about my work and consider it a privilege to support individuals on their paths to mental health recovery or during their immigration processes.
