About Miranda Grogger

I’m a 22-year-old multimedia journalist and marketing professional based in both Bellingham, WA and Bainbridge Island, WA. I recently graduated in spring 2025 with a bachelors degree in Visual Journalism from Western Washington University. I love using different mediums to tell stories, especially so in photography, radio, design and writing. I aim to pursue a career in live music or sports. My role as the KUGS-FM Marketing Coordinator has exposed me to the world of marketing and social media, which are now passions of mine My experiences have allowed me to develop both strong and soft skills including Adobe applications and video production. I’ve also had pieces published in both The Front, and Klipsun spring 2024 (where I won best short-form story of the quarter!) My years of experience as a caregiver have taught me an expert sense of patience, responsibility and compassion that have translated through every one of my work experiences. I’m excited to continue to explore the world of multimedia journalism and eager to connect with creative minds who seek to make use of the possibilities at the intersection of creativity and impactful communication.
