I'm currently a 4th-year Communicative Disorders major at the California State University of Los Angeles. I am striving to be a Speech and Language Pathologist. I aspire to work with children and gain as much experience as I can by shadowing, finding an amazing internship, and being a part of the community to grow my knowledge of the field. My passion for speech pathology comes from seeing those children struggle with a speech impediment and once they overcome it the joy on their faces brings them fulfills my heart. I want to be able to help them achieve their goals and get to where they strive to be. Becoming a Speech and Language Pathologist is more than just creating activities for children to improve their speech, it is about impacting their lives so they can grow. Building trust between the child and SLP is the key to a successful future in this career. My goal is to be able to help as many individuals as I can with the skills and knowledge I will be gaining.
