About Miranda Kahn

Miranda Kahn is the Founder, CEO, and Executive Producer of MIRMADE Productions, a boutique, female-run production company. Her career began with roles on network television shows like HBO’s Girls, ABC’s Forever, and Bradley Cooper’s Limitless, where she gained experience in wardrobe, art, and production. Miranda quickly transitioned into management and producer roles in the indie film scene, eventually becoming an Assistant Director and Production Manager. She earned membership in the DGA (Directors Guild of America) and brought projects to prestigious festivals, including the Emmys, Sundance, Cannes, Venice, and Tribeca. In 2018, Miranda expanded into commercials and music videos, leading to the founding of MIRMADE in 2019. Her work spans collaborations with Oscar-winning producers Eli Bush and Molly Conners, Grammy-winning artists such as Lady Gaga, H.E.R, Nas, and Arcade Fire, as well as notable entities like the Safdie brothers, Julia Fox, A24, Planned Parenthood, HBO, Vogue, and ESPN. To date, Miranda has produced four feature films and over a dozen shorts. Her passion for female-driven stories and comedic narratives has earned widespread recognition. Her latest feature, The French Italian, premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, and she received the 2024 Sundance U.S. Fiction Jury Award for her work on Say Hi After You Die. Most recently, she executive produced Moon Lake, which was featured at the Venice Film Festival. Known for her broad and impactful body of work, Miranda is committed to empowering young female filmmakers. Outside of the industry, she enjoys playing the bass and attending live music events. Miranda has also ventured into directing, with her debut short film Fame and Other Four Letter Words currently in post-production.
