About Miranda Lingle
Future public health leader and current lover of all forms of health promotion! In December, I graduated from Iowa State Univeristy with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and Health. Over the past four years, I’ve worked to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of health, complementing the knowledge I’ve gained through my studies. I currently hold part-time positions as a respite provider and direct support professional. When I’m not working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I’m training for half and full marathons and helping others adopt healthy, motivated lifestyles. Outside of work and running, I’m passionate about expanding my knowledge in health-related areas. In the past, this has included working in an epidemiology lab focused on cardiovascular disease prevention and serving on the College of Human Sciences Student Council.
