About Miranda Loud
I bring the sensitivities of my three decades of work as a musician to what is now my current focus in visual art - working in collage, watercolor and oil. I am currently exploring the line between representational painting and abstraction, enjoying the variety of textures and effects of different media to create and express mood and emotion. I teach sketchbook journaling through the Winslow Art Center and Teachers as Scholars, as well as through my own website. Miranda Loud Designs is an online store featuring my creations, handmade by me as well as outsourced, all using my own patterns or designs. For ten years I created performances and films and installations for the non-profit I founded, Naturestage.
