I am a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountant SAIPA and have achieved a Bachelor in Commerce Finance degree from the University of Johannesburg and completed a work readiness program for 6 months at Guarantee Trust. I have been working in an Accounting and Finance environment for over 8 years of which 2 years was in investments as a scheme shares plans officer and 3 years completing my articles in Accounting. I am currently an Accountant at DSV (Shared Services department) I have gained skills which make me a valuable asset to the organization Im employed at. My knowledge and background in income tax preparation provide a strong foundation that allows for accurate and thorough work. I am extremely computer literate and have extensive experience with a number of different accounting programs. namely SAP, Sage, Microsoft Great Plains, Pastel,Hyperion,Fleet Active,Fleet Domain,and Quickbooks In my experience with a small accounting firm and Big corporations. I have had the opportunity to familiarize myself with a variety of accounting specialties. You will find me to be an exceptionally versatile individual that is comfortable managing clients ranging from struggling small business to established corporations. I am confident that my positive attitude will make me a seamless addition to any team. I treat others with respect. I’m always doing my best. Perseverance is my motto. I am able to use my own initiative and work as part of a team. I have proven leadership skills. An effective communicator at all levels within an organization. Good problem solving and analytical skills. I consider consequences before acting and know that I am accountable.
