About Miranda Moon

I am a MS in Business Analytics student at the SMU Cox School of Business, where I will learn how to apply advanced data analysis techniques and tools to solve real-world business problems and generate insights. I have a strong academic background in economics, with a BS degree from TCU and a minor in general business. I have also completed multiple research projects and internships that enhanced my knowledge and skills in economics, business, and analytics. For example, I interned at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County, where I conducted a survey and analysis of the impact of their programs on the youth's academic and social outcomes. I also tutored economics students at the TCU Student Support Services, where I collaborated with other tutors and staff to provide academic assistance and guidance to students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds.My goal is to pursue a career in business analytics, where I can leverage my education and experience to help organizations make data-driven decisions and optimize their performance. I am eager to learn from the faculty and peers at SMU Cox, and to contribute to the academic and professional community. I am also interested in exploring the opportunities and challenges in the fields of finance, marketing, and consulting, where I can apply my analytical, research, and communication skills.
