About Miranda Mueller

As the Associate Director of the International Department at Midwestern Career College (MCC), my job is to lead initiatives to promote and support student wellness, build partnerships with other colleges and universities, and help ensure compliance with accreditation requirements. I helped to build the foundation for MCC’s ESL program, which has more than 200 students of over 40 different nationalities. My contributions include developing and implementing program policies and procedures as well as co-writing handbooks and orientation materials. My passion for international education stems from my time in Paris, France, where I completed my Masters thesis in French poetry while co-founding an ESL tutoring school called Cowboy English. Although my French is a bit rusty these days, I still enjoy reading poetry with my son.
