About Mircea Fernea

My background is a technical one. I started working on web projects in Most people don't want to remember what their first web app looked like. But I do! It was a nice bookkeeping software. This is how I got my first job. I'm a full stack developer so I'm at ease with arranging pixels and colors or even optimizing joins for database queries. I'm not sure why, maybe it's due to my competitive style, as I was a sportsman for 8 years. Being proficient in multiple areas of web development also allowed me to bridge different roles / specialities within projects. We all know that, for example, devs and designers seem to speak very different languages and very often. That's when a "translator" needs to step in. What makes me tick the most is building teams. I did this by spotting the right persons for the team either from outside or from inside the company. I was heavily involved in the recruitment process and in organizing internships, ways through which we got new people in. In day to day life, noticing each and everyone strengths and weaknesses or their ups and downs allowed me to make sure that the team works well together. How did I oiled the mechanisms? Through communication based on openness and authenticity.
