Background
About Miriam Alvarez
I’m the Director of Strategy & Operations, Global Electric Power and Gas Practice, McKinsey & Company, based in Madrid. I set and lead the strategic direction and operational activities for the practice globally, mobilising teams of colleagues to deliver exceptional service for clients. I’m passionate about the work McKinsey does to help clients navigate the complexities of the ever-evolving electric power and gas sector and enable communities to access this basic and essential service. With a background consulting on power transmission, distribution, regulation and renewables, my areas of expertise in my current role include: strategic planning, talent management, digital transformation, culture change and operational excellence. Outside of work, I enjoy playing tennis and spending time with family and friends.
