Background
About Miriam M.
I never expected to pursue a career in the automotive industry. As a little kid, the most car-related work I had ever done was hold the flashlight for my dad and hand him the 10mm wrench. But as I got older, I realized my love for working on vehicles. I started out with simple oil changes and then moved on to tire repairs, installing new radios, and some bodywork. In high school, I had progressed to installing a new engine in a BMW. My college career has allowed me to pursue my passion for a career as a technician in the automotive industry. So far, I’ve been able to diagnose and fix multiple customer cars, none of which were easy jobs. I've been faced with many issues, from malfunctioning tire pressure sensors and intermittent starting issues, to broken driveshafts and bent steering knuckles. But with patience, perseverance, and a little bit of caffeine, there’s no vehicle I can’t fix.
