As a Medical Underwriter, I specialize in data analysis and risk assessment. I am constantly balancing the two important, and often times conflicting, goals of profitability and growth, winning new clients in a highly competitive environment while establishing lasting relationships by making certain that I can fit customers with the right plans at sustaining rates. I work closely with internal and external partners to advise on and customize products for each customer’s specific needs. I work well in pressured environments with tight deadlines by staying very organized and keeping a fluid line of communication. I love to learn new skills and roles and adapt well to change. I have a personal commitment to staying professionally challenged while growing from my past experience. My philosophy is that every party should benefit from a business transition; there should be no losers and no hidden agendas.
