About Mirjam Heldmann

I am a high-energy and passionate person that is fascinated by what moves people and how to get them into action. This curiosity has come back into my life in various forms. At some point by getting people to move their bodies (in my time as a freelancer in running coaching & fitness to fund my Ph.D. research in law). Now at Oxfam Novib in my role in the mobilization and brand activation team to help inspire cultural change and promote change both inside and outside the organization. As a trail ultramarathon runner, it is 'mind over matter'. Only through a strong mindset can you get your body to run distances that seem every time simply insane. I am sharing my running stories to show others that if I can do seemingly impossible runs, so can they. If they set their mind to it. Sharing my running story and being outspoken about DEI has been recognised by lululemon. Since 2023 I am their Run Brand Ambassador for the Netherlands and have an DEI advisory role for their global ambassador board. I have put my Ph.D. in law on hold, for now, to explore more how we can change the world we live in together, collectively. A short documentary about me & my running you cna find here:
