About Mirna Raslan

As the director (head of school) of an IB continuum school in Qatar (Qatar Academy Sidra), I lead a team of educators and administrators who are committed to providing a holistic and rigorous learning experience for our students. I am also a workshop leader, an evaluation leader and a consultant for the International Baccalaureate (IB), supporting other IB schools in their accreditation and development processes. With over 20 years of experience in education, I have developed competencies in curriculum design, assessment, policy writing, and coaching. I am passionate about fostering a culture of inquiry, collaboration, and innovation among teachers and students, empowering them to achieve their potential. I believe in the impact of professional learning communities and in our ability to make a difference.
