About Miroslav Ivan

There is nothing better than working with awesome people in a creative environment. That's exactly how I feel about game development. Ever since I was a kid I played video games as much as I could. Around the time I joined university I started to look into how they are made. I enrolled in few courses on Udemy and I started my journey! Fast forward to present I finished Bachelor's degree this year and I attended Summer Game Dev where as you can tell we were making games! We had 5 weeks to create a prototype under guidance from mentors and various professionals. I mostly enjoyed working in a team, brainstorming that idea and making sure it comes to life. After this experience I was sure that this is what I want to be part of. I want to be part of Game Dev industry with awesome and creative people. My passion for games can be seen at my current position as Lecturer at GameCraft courses organized by Hemisféra o.z. I educate young kids in programming, game design and game art. Outside of working environment I like to continue studying, because there is still so much to learn until I am satisfied with my knowledge. I like to walk outside with my partner and our dog Jessi. In the future we will get more dogs and practice Agility with them and go to various dog exhibitions. I don't say no to sports too, mostly to tennis and table tennis. Skills/Interests: Unity / Unreal Engine, C#, C++, almost anything Game Dev related Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at STU FIIT
