About Miruna Leitoiu

Currently taking my MA in International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS, as part of its Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy, where I am focusing my modules on Foreign Policy, Risk Analysis, International Law, International Relations, Diplomatic Practices, Political Communication, and Global Advocacy, in hopes of pursuing a career in Policy and International Affairs. I have recently graduated with a 2:1 in Japanese Studies and Korean Studies at SOAS, where I have focused most of my modules and research on gender equity, education and opportunity access, as well as the international relations between Japan, North Korea, South Korea, the UK, and the US. Looking to further consolidate my knowledge of the East Asian region, but also to expand my area of expertise to cover Eastern Europe, focusing on its geopolitical importance, the fight for gender equity, and access to education in rural areas of the region.
