About Mirza Mahmutovic

A highly motivated computer science student, no, no, scratch that. Who am I? I'm the kind of person who likes making things work. Solving problems and seeing something I built come to life, brings me a sense of accomplishment and peace of mind. When I hit a roadblock, I can't stop until I find a solution. For me, the details matter. I have to do things thoroughly, otherwise it just doesn't sit right with me. That's exactly why I consider myself a perfectionist in my work. But, this reason alone isn't why I do what I do. I am a real tech enthusiast. Staying up to date with new technology is a must for me. After all, if I don't fully understand my machine, how can I make it do what I want? And yes, a microfiber cloth and a toolbox have a permanent place in my backpack. Machines need care too, right? Doing the same thing repeatedly can become very boring for people, and I'm no different. Work is a big part of a person's life and that's why I believe it should be engaging. Experiencing new things and expanding my skill set brings me joy. That said, work isn't just about tasks and tickets. As a colleague, I make sure to support others, the same way I want to be supported. Good vibes in the team are a must, I believe they get the work done. What I do? Let's not get it confused, I actually am a highly motivated computer science student, currently in my final year of studies. Throughout the years of my education, I had the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, including C, C++, C#.NET, Python, Java, Kotlin, Node.JS, PHP, Laravel, SQL and databases. Beyond coding, learning about project planning, analysis and management has given me a totally different perspective on projects. It's not all about getting the things done, but how they're done. Currently, alongside my studies, I work full-time as a backend developer specializing in Laravel and Python. My role involves integrating new features, optimizing databases, and most importantly, writing clean, reusable code. As they say, where one thing ends, another one begins. The same goes for code.
