I am a dedicated professional with a rich background in the restaurant industry, where I gained extensive experience in both management and front-of-house roles, including bartending and serving. These roles have equipped me with a versatile skill set and a strong customer service focus. After completing my Human Resource Management program at BCIT, where I served as VP of Marketing for the Human Resources Association, I transitioned into an HR Assistant position at B&B Contracting Group. In my current role as HR Coordinator, I oversee the management of employee files for over 650 employees across multiple companies, navigating complex union agreements. I'm responsible for full-cycle recruitment, from creating job descriptions to drafting contracts, interviewing, and screening applicants. My experience spans various industries and roles, requiring adaptability and a detail-oriented approach. Beyond the technical aspects of my role, I'm passionate about fostering a positive company culture and actively contribute to this through my participation in company-sponsored events. Volunteering at these events allows me to connect with colleagues and promote a sense of community within the organization.
